Black Planet is a gritty, dancefloor-first community built on 90s alternative culture. Our nights, from hard techno and queer kink parties to retro raves, are sex-positive, kink-positive, and queer-centered. We’re here for the raw, the real, and the rebellious. The door isn’t just a checkpoint; it’s the first touchpoint of our vibe.

We’re looking for Entrance & Tickets crew who understand that this role is about curating the crowd, not just checking names. You’re the guardian of our space, ensuring everyone who steps in belongs, and feels it.

🎯 Your Role

You’ll be the face and filter at our doors, handling tickets, dress code, and first impressions. No power trips just protecting our community with both firmness and heart.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Ticket Check-ins: Scan, verify, and welcome attendees with efficiency and warmth.
• Enforce Dress Code Confidently: Say no when needed, politely but firmly, to those who don’t align with the particular event’s dresscode (not all events have a dresscode)
• Keep a Sharp Eye: Spot potential trouble makers without profiling, use intuition, ask thoughtful questions, and de-escalate before issues arise.
• Be Inclusive Yet Vigilant: No profiling!
• Communicate Authoritatively but Kindly: Your tone should command respect but never intimidate. 
• Work with Safety Team: Coordinate closely to flag concerns and maintain a seamless flow.

💰 The Deal

• Paid Shifts: 1000-1400 kr per 3-5 hour shift
• Flexible Schedule: Evenings and weekends, aligned with our event calendar.
• Free Entry to BP Nights: When you’re off-duty, you’re part of the dancefloor.
